Rebuilding Hope: BDKWWF’s Support for Anwara Begum

Anwara Begum, a woman from Rangpur, Bangladesh, was already affected by the Rana Plaza building collapse in Dhaka a few years ago. More recently, she became homeless again due to the pandemic when her brother, who was sheltering her, lost his income.

With the support of BDKWWF, she received Tk 1.50 lakh ($2,230 CAD) to build her new home. This generous contribution came from the kind-hearted people of the K-W community, who always respond with compassion to such appeals.
