In December 2021, BDKWWF successfully organized its Holiday Food Drive. A total of 700 lbs of food items, worth $1,036, and equivalent to 546 meals, were delivered to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region on December 22, 2021.
Muhammad, a 5.5-year-old boy from Bangladesh, has been undergoing critical surgeries since he was just 13 days old due to bladder complexities affecting his kidneys.
